Dr. Kiichiro Okubo is a lecturer at the Center for Advanced Education and Career Development at the Regional Institution for Educational Creation, Kyoto University of Education.

Education:

  • Graduated from Shimane Prefectural Matsue Kita High School in 2001.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, specializing in Japanese language, from Tokyo Gakugei University, Department of Education, Elementary Education Teacher Training Course, under the supervision of Professor Masayoshi Nemoto, in 2005.
  • Master’s degree in Japanese Education, specializing in Japanese language education, from Tokyo Gakugei University Graduate School of Education, Japanese Education Japanese Language Education Course, under the supervision of Professor Masayoshi Nemoto, in 2007.
  • Completed the Doctoral Program in Media Information Studies, specializing in Media Cultural Studies, in the field of Information Literacy Education Program and Media Education Theory Seminar, at the Graduate School of Information Sciences, Tohoku University, under the supervision of Professor Tatsuya Hotta, in 2020.
